Let’s take the mystery out of this technology, simplify the exposure calibration process for your digital camera and get to know how to incorporate this invaluable tool into your world the fastest and easiest way. Rita will show you the tips and tricks on getting excellent dental views every time.
What you will learn in these sessions:
- Photograph each other and practice the techniques for standardized patient photography with mirrors and retractors.
- Photography Principles: What are all these buttons and what can I use them for? Get to know the functions of your camera and improve your clinical and your hobby photography at the same time.
- Camera Clinics: Calibrate your Camera settings and Exposure for Patient Photography, (grouped by camera systems)
- Case presentations and printing tips; initiate and generate an effective communication tool between your clients and your lab
Course Requirements:
Participants should bring their own dental photography systems with fully charged batteries and the instruction manual. The latest cameras will be provided for participants who wish to evaluate which system is ideal for their practice. Please bring mirrors and retractors for the intra oral photography sessions. (Mirrors and retractors will be available at a special price at the course)
Biographical Information
For the last 30 years, Ms Bauer has provided photographic material for educational purposes, taught clinical photography, PowerPoint presentation techniques and digital technology to academic staff and students at the University of Toronto, Canada.
With over 700 presentations and workshops on the subject, Rita has become recognized as a leading authority and divides her time at the University and lecturing internationally. She specializes in making digital photography easily accessible for dentists and their staff, and in transforming inexperienced photographers into enthusiastic, competent digital camera users. For her efforts to the dental community she has received Honorary Memberships as a Fellow of the International College of Dental Surgeons and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
